Flooding and forest fires on our farm

On our farm we have experienced flooding a few times, including the highest ever recorded. There was extensive damage to the nearby town of Grand Forks. We have also had major forest fires surrounding us. Flooding has cost us financially and made a lot of extra work required to deal with the damages. Big forest fires have been close to and have surrounded our valley. We have been on multiple evacuation orders and alerts, which is disruptive and stressful. These events have been made worse because of climate change.
