On our way out to have Christmas dinner with friends, I spotted this rose in our garden and several more buds getting ready to bloom. It seems like a crazy juxtaposition with the lights on the fence, given that this area has often had several days of sub-zero temperatures before the holidays start. It has been such a mild winter so far.
