Alice Lake is a gem

But it shouldn't be emerald green. It was sad to see this Lower Mainland treasure as a thick, green soup on a beautiful September weekend. All the people who would normally be enjoying the water were standing around on the beach just staring it at. It made me sad to think of all the children camping with their families and being told not to go near the water because it is "icky." They might not fight for something they fear.
