Smoky sunrise

Mainland/Southwest
Air Quality| Wildfire
As we head towards the autumnal equinox, the sun is lower on the horizon when I leave early in the morning for a long commute into Vancouver. While I was walking, I noted a bright orange ball reflected in the window of a car parked on the street and turned around to see this. Eerie orange sunsets are a hallmark of wildfire smoke in the evening sky, but I can't remember seeing such a smoky sunrise before.
