Where did all the water go?

What happened to King's Pond? I often walk my dog around Cedar Hill Golf Course, where this sweet duck pond is located. I usually see close to a hundred ducks wading in the pond, but today they had only a few puddles left. I could actually walk into the pond. It makes me sad, as this is a special place often full of people feeding the ducks, including older adults and families (I used to go there with my daughter and do just that). Looking it up afterward, it seems I am not the only one who has noticed. While this makes me sad, I am hopeful that others are noticing too and taking action to protect this place.
